Copyright (DMCA) Policy
Last updated: May 7, 2026
We respect intellectual property rights and expect iDesign Platform users to do the same. This page explains how to send a takedown notice if you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed, and what happens next.
Filing a takedown notice
Under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), copyright owners can request the removal of infringing material. To file a notice, send an email to dmca@idesignplatform.com including all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or their authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (or a representative list if multiple works).
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing — preferably the URL of the page or asset on iDesign Platform.
- Your contact information: full legal name, address, phone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Notices missing any of the above may be invalid or delayed.
Designated agent
Our designated DMCA agent is reachable at dmca@idesignplatform.com. Please use email — paper mail is much slower.
What happens after you file
- We review the notice, typically within two business days.
- If valid, we remove or disable access to the identified material and notify the user who uploaded or generated it.
- Repeat infringers have their accounts terminated, per DMCA §512(i).
Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice. Email dmca@idesignplatform.com including:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the U.S., consenting to jurisdiction wherever we are located).
After we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files suit.
False claims
DMCA §512(f) allows for damages — including attorney's fees — against any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing or was removed by mistake. Don't file in bad faith.
AI-generated content & training data
iDesign Platform uses pre-trained third-party AI models. We do not train models on user inputs. If you believe a model used by iDesign Platform was trained on your copyrighted work, your dispute is with the model's publisher (e.g. Stability AI, Black Forest Labs) — but we'll happily forward valid notices on request.
